What are interdental brushes?

Interdental brushes help to prevent disease by getting rid of pieces of food and plaque between your teeth. If plaque builds up, the bacteria can irritate the gums and cause inflammation (swelling).

With small bristled heads, interdental brushes are specifically designed to clean between your teeth. Interdental brushes also come in various different sizes, depending on the gaps between your teeth – some patients even have to use more than one size for their teeth.

Curaprox CPS 06

The CURAPROX CPS 06 prime is the thinnest interdental brushes on the market, offering a more effective and gentler alternative to dental floss for everyone. The special design of this interdental brush makes it reliable and easy to use, as well as durable. Owing to technological innovation, they are interdental brushes that support long, soft bristles on a very thin CURAL surgical wire, making them very versatile and extremely effective, even in tight interdental spaces.

Caring for your interdental brushes

Just like any toothbrush, interdental brushes can be washed out after use, and used again. The life of an interdental brush depends on how often it is used and how well it is cleaned.

Careful use and regular rinsing can extend the life of a brush considerably.

Curaprox CPS 06 is available from Boots and other main retailers.

How to use interdental brushes

  • Use a brush size that is appropriate for the size of the gaps between your teeth.
  • Be gentle. Do not force the brush between your teeth.
  • Work to a pattern around your mouth. This way, you will avoid missing any teeth.
