Dr Dora Lengyel
Principal Dentist and Owner

GDC No. 212461Dora founded Dental Health for Life after a decade working in other practices - driven by a belief that patients deserve more time, more honesty, and more care than a busy appointment book allows. You can read the full story of why she opened the practice on our About Us page.
What she brought to that vision is a combination that is genuinely rare - a medical family background that instilled exceptional clinical standards from childhood, and a deeply developed artistic eye that has driven multiple art awards and, later, an instinctive feel for aesthetic dentistry that purely technically trained clinicians simply cannot replicate.
Clinically, Dora holds a certificate in Minor Oral Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England - which means she carries out surgical procedures that most general dentists refer elsewhere, so your treatment stays under one roof. Her Postgraduate Diploma in Clear Aligner Therapy is held by very few general dentists in the UK - which means her Invisalign expertise operates at an academic level that goes far beyond standard provider training, equipping her to manage cases other practices would decline. She has completed advanced training at the Dawson Academy in the United States, and uses Digital Smile Design so you see and approve your finished smile before a single tooth is touched.
As a Platinum Invisalign Provider and global runner-up for the Invisalign Most Transformed Practice Award 2024, Dora's results have been independently recognised by Align Technology as among the finest anywhere in the world.
Outside the practice, Dora is a dedicated equestrian who competes in dressage and jumping - bringing the same patience, precision, and feel for detail to the arena that she brings to every smile she creates.

Mr Bharath Puttur
Visiting Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

GDC No. 247416Mr Puttur is our visiting oral and maxillofacial surgeon, brought to Dental Health for Life via the Implantwise specialist referral network. He brings over 20 years of experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery, having trained at the Royal London Hospital and served as Locum Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Peterborough City Hospital for nine years.
Mr Puttur holds Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow - which means he has met the highest independent standards of surgical competence set by one of the UK's most respected medical Royal Colleges. For you as a patient, this means your implant is being placed by a surgeon who operates to the same standard as those working in NHS hospital specialist units.
He serves as Regional Advisor for Dentistry for East of England through the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, and actively mentors fellow clinicians in dental implantology and pre-prosthetic surgery - which means the techniques he brings to your treatment are current, evidence-based, and at the absolute forefront of the specialty.
His specialist interest is full mouth implant rehabilitation including All-on-4 and All-on-6 same day teeth treatments - which means patients who have lost most or all of their teeth, or who have been turned away elsewhere, have access to a level of expertise in Chippenham that most people would expect to travel to London or Bristol to find.
Having a consultant-level oral and maxillofacial surgeon placing implants at our Chippenham practice is a distinction that sets Dental Health for Life apart from the vast majority of private dental practices in Wiltshire.

Dr Suleyman Ozdemir
Dentist

GDC No. 304983Dr Suleyman earned his dental degree from Grigore T. Popa University and completed a surgical-focused internship at Mustafa Kemal University, gaining extensive hands-on experience in implant placement and oral surgery. He is currently completing a Masters in Implantology at the University of Bristol - one of the UK's leading dental schools - which means our patients benefit directly from the very latest evidence, research, and surgical techniques in implant dentistry.

Melanie Stokes
Dental Hygienist
Qualified 1989, Eastman Dental Hospital London
GDC No. 3700Melanie trained at the prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital in London under the supervision of world-leading periodontists, qualifying as a dental hygienist in June 1989. The Eastman is one of the most respected specialist dental institutions in the world - which means Melanie's foundational training was delivered to a standard that most hygienists trained in general dental settings simply do not receive.
With over 35 years of specialist clinical experience, a session with Melanie is not a routine scale and polish - it is a clinically informed, prevention-focused appointment with one of the most experienced hygienists in Wiltshire, delivered with warmth and a light touch that puts even the most anxious patients at ease.
Outside the practice, Melanie is an active and creative individual - you will find her walking her dogs, tending her garden, painting, drawing, or spending time with her two grown-up children.

Tanya Laws
Patient Care Coordinator
GDC No. 209200Tanya is our dedicated Patient Care Coordinator and the first point of contact for many new patients at Dental Health for Life. She qualified as a dental nurse in 2010 and joined our practice in January 2024, quickly transitioning into her current role where she guides patients through every stage of their treatment journey.
Tanya holds a National Diploma in Fine Art and Graphic Design - which means she brings a genuinely rare visual intelligence to her work in clinical photography, helping patients see and understand their smile transformation.
She is passionate about building lasting relationships with patients and ensuring everyone she works with feels fully supported, informed, and at ease - which means if you are nervous, uncertain, or simply have a lot of questions, Tanya is exactly the right person to speak to first.
Outside the practice, Tanya enjoys arts, crafts, and complex puzzles, and loves spending time with her friends, family, and her cat.

Kirsty Hulbert
Head Dental Nurse
Qualified Dental Nurse, Certificate in Dental Radiography, Certificate in Oral Health Education
GDC No. 151366“Bringing over 30 years of care, kindness, and a love for what I do.”
Kirsty is our Head Dental Nurse and brings over 30 years of clinical nursing experience to the team. She holds additional certifications in dental radiography and oral health education and has developed specialist expertise in both implant and orthodontic nursing - which means when you are undergoing implant treatment or Invisalign, the nurse supporting your clinician has dedicated specialist training in exactly that procedure.
Her depth of experience means she works in genuine clinical partnership with our clinicians - which means the entire clinical team supporting your treatment, from surgeon to nurse, operates at a specialist level.
Outside the practice, Kirsty enjoys spending time with her husband and walking her dogs, especially when it means discovering somewhere new outdoors.

Lynne Clarke
Receptionist
Lynne brings over 30 years of dental expertise to our front desk, having worked as a dental nurse, practice manager, Oral B representative, and membership plan consultant - which means when you call or arrive at the practice with a question, you are speaking to someone with genuine, deep knowledge of how dental practices work and what patients need.
Outside the practice, Lynne is a qualified Reiki practitioner currently studying for a hypnotherapy qualification. She loves exploring the countryside with her dogs, reading, and spending time with her family and eight grandchildren.

Hannah Moody
Receptionist
Hannah brings a decade of healthcare administration experience from NHS clerical work and chiropractic practice management - which means she understands the administrative complexity of a clinical environment and the importance of getting the details right. Her calm, organised approach ensures our patients always receive a smooth and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive.
Outside the practice, Hannah is an avid gardener with multiple RHS qualifications, and enjoys dog walking and cycling holidays.

Business Manager
Alex brings 20 years of experience as a Chartered Engineer in the construction industry to his role managing the operational and business leadership of Dental Health for Life alongside Dr Dora. His structured, detail-oriented background means the practice runs with the same discipline and precision that defines the clinical work.
