As I look in the mirror, I can't believe the transformation. I have been terrified of dentists for almost 40 years, after a very bad experience as a 10 year old child. I only went for treatment when I could stand the pain no longer. Last year I developed an abscess and so went online to find help. I found this practice and made a call. What a find. Dr Tromp is so patient and professional. He explained what was possible. I had all my old amalgam fillings removed and white ones put in. I am in the process of having my teeth straightened so at 50+ I have a brace, and it is fantastic; the change in eight months is truly a miracle. I feel very relaxed and happy when I visit and I recommend them most highly.

I was at last given confidence to go forward and sort out what was left of my teeth. Dr Tromp is someone that really knew what he was doing and who put you at ease right from entering the surgery, and gave you the confidence to make the right decision.
I have always been treated with the utmost courtesy and respect even with the telephone calls by Dawn (also with a little bit of friendly banter) to sort out appointments which have not always been easy to fit in with my personal problems. The looking after by Dr Tromp and Caroline during the treatment and the personal touch of the hot towels when everything is over has been very welcome.

It has made me realise that there is more to dental health than just patching up when a problem becomes apparent. Modern equipment in the surgery was most impressive. My first impression was that of technical competence and a personal approach. No dentist has suggested an actual plan in the past. It took a while to get used to cost, in relation to NHS charges, but I will definitely refer friend and family because they would get first class service if they are prepared to pay for it. In general waiting times were brief or non-existent. (No time to read the up to date magazines in the waiting room.) This is an efficient go-ahead practice using what I take to be up to the minute techniques and materials and where the friendly staff does much to dispel the normal trepidation of "a visit to the dentist".
