Reception
You would probably start feeling relaxed as you enter. A new patient recently remarked: "It does not feel I am in a dental practice at all; it does not even smell like a dental practice!" Someone else noticed the pleasant smell of our fresh flowers and this is just part of our attention to detail.
We use one of the best dental software programs available. Any required information, post treatment instructions, appointments or written estimations are readily available and provided in a neat personalized fashion.
We accept Cash, Cheque or Credit Card.
Sitting Room
We rather use the term sitting room and not waiting room because our patients rarely "wait". We like to be punctual, not wasting your time; but, should you arrive earlier than you appointment time our sitting room is designed to complement the relaxed atmosphere of this lovely Grade 2 Listed Building from the early 1650's. Take a seat in comfortable chairs and relax with specially selected background music while reading though any of a wide variety of up to date magazines.
Surgery
Our surgery is purposely installed. The equipment is state-of-the-art. Patients view all relevant information about their mouths on their own screen at the chair.
Digital imaging is used for all x-rays. This means no hazardous chemicals are used for development and exposure to the patient is minimal compared to the old film x-rays. Radiographs are ready to view in a few seconds, leaving more time to discuss available treatment options.
Disposable instruments are used wherever possible. Other instruments are thoroughly cleaned and sterilised. Regular audit trials are carried out to ensure sterilising stays efficient with no chances of cross contamination giving you the peace of mind you deserve. What's more, when patients leave after every treatment session, they receive a heated, scented, towel for them to freshen up and for us ...just to say we care.
